From waste to wardrobe
Ensuring authenticity in recycled plastics
Plastic pollution is a growing environmental crisis, driving industries toward more sustainable solutions. Recycling plays a crucial role in plastic waste management, and the textile and footwear industry has embraced this shift, with brands increasingly promoting “recycled polyester” in their products. However, verifying the authenticity of recycled plastics presents significant challenges. Greenwashing and fraudulent claims make transparency and compliance more important than ever. This is where recycled plastics testing (or recycled polymer testing) can make a difference for brands.
This webinar will dive into the evolving role of recycled plastics testing in industries like textiles and footwear. We’ll explore how companies are responding to growing sustainability demands and the increased need for transparency in sustainability claims. Eurofins Sustainability Services will also introduce its innovative Recycled Plastics Testing solution, designed to scientifically verify and quantify recycled content. Through our advanced testing methods, brands can ensure compliance, substantiate marketing claims, and build a transparent supply chain.
Join us to gain expert insights into the future of recycled plastics testing and verification, and discover how recycled plastics testing can help your business confidently authenticate recycled materials, safeguard its reputation, meet evolving sustainability regulations, and avoid misleading claims.
